LITTERLESS LUNCH
Did you know on average a school-age child using a disposable lunch generates 67 pounds of waste per school year? Much of the trash we generate comes from the packaging on the food we buy, and lunch foods are no exception.
In an effort to encourage a zero waste lifestyle, the Litterless Lunch campaign was launched. A product family of reusable items such as lunch and snack bags, food jars and containers were featured. The goal behind this initiative was to promote sustainability and to reduce single-use plastic and paper.
My role in this project was to develop content to promote the campaign in various online and offline channels. On our website, I created web banners that coincided with weekly emails. In our social media platforms, I developed and scheduled a diverse range of material, including paid ads and user-generated content. In terms of print, I was responsible for the creative direction and execution of ads shown in trade publications.
